I have a little bugreport. Using latest YTD v1.54.20160112 I downloaded this video:

Sadly, the result is unplayable (BSPlayer crash) and in VD it looks this way:


So I used webpage http://www.clipconverter.cc/ze/
Keep the default settings and get a 113 229 126 bytes long (as oposed to smaller 92 690 623 byted from YTD) file that plays and works good (or as supposed to be).

Is this bug reproductable for foxing, or I need to do more? (Win7 SP1 used).

Hi Pepak! Talking about streaming videos, Facebook vids beginning to be quite common. They are possible to download thru http://www.downvids.net - for example, but could a YTD support be made too? There is a good testing link:

Faced with obvious YewTube censorship, RT decided to keep their videos on their server too. So ... this is a good thing for diversifaing the sources abd backing up things, however ... how can we download their videos off from their server? For example this one:

YouTube come with clever way to reduce the downloading of the highest quality 1080p content:
Many videos (like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbVxvITmwIc or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVMwhOYqA6U ) have only the 720p videos WITH sound. 1080p videos are w/o sound.

Downloadable for example there: http://en.savefrom.net/

Now it is possible to combine the audio from 720p videos with the 1080p video in VirtualDub, but how can be YTD told to download the 1080p videos? I see no way ATM. Maybe it could be changed...?

It does not download the video(s) presented there and it would be a very nice if that will be possible, since the eyewitness claims that SU-25 downed the Boeing 777 MH17 in Ukraine, so that information should be saved ASAP, before the propaganda machine try to destroy this information completely.

I did not managed to download the other videos. Mainly I want to download the first video on the page, showing the attempted bombing of the bus on highway and the shelling of civilians with "just one Sarin"... That is quite powerfull message and in current time it should be shown to the people.

Could there will be any support in YTD and some help with obtaining these videos? Please?

Hned ze začátku jsem zjistil, že mi ta stránka bez nejnovějších verzí browserů ani nenaskočí. V Firefoxu to jen řve o updatu:

A word on browsers

MEGA pushes the browser to its limits, and these limits vary. While it does work with all major current browsers, there are some weighty feature and performance differences:

Google Chrome: The leading browser, by far. It implements the proposed HTML5 FileSystem API, allowing for fancy features such as recursive folder uploads and efficient downloads. Caveats: Requires user permission to batch-write files after a few unattended completed downloads (for security reasons, and only once per session). Slightly anaemic text rendering.
Internet Explorer 10: A solid, modern browser with blazing JavaScript performance (even exceeding Chrome's). However, until Microsoft fixes a memory leak in the Blob saving functionality, you have to close and reopen the MEGA tab every couple of hundred megabytes of inbound file transfer. And, until Microsoft implements disk-based Blobs or Chrome's FileWriter API, memory usage for a file download peaks at twice the file's size - hardly efficient.
Mozilla Firefox 18: Carefully avoids providing any API that would allow writing files from JavaScript.
Safari 6: No JavaScript file writing, either.
Internet Explorer 9: Lacks all essential features required for MEGA: File I/O, Web Workers, ArrayBuffers, and binary cross-domain HTTP access. Nice text rendering, though.
Opera: No JavaScript file writing and exceedingly slow JavaScript crypto operations.
Conclusion: If you are planning on using MEGA frequently, there is currently no alternative to using the most advanced browser currently in existence - Google Chrome.

...jinak řečeno, Opera, IE pod v10, Safari a Firefox pod v20 si s Mega nerozumí. Dokázal by to YTD? 

Zaujalo mně na Porntube tohle videjko:

...a protože je v podporovaných a Porntube.com server tedy není z nejrychlejších (asi bude "kapku" přetížen), tak jsem si ho chtěl schválně zkusit stáhnout. Podařilo se mi link zkrátit na:

...ale výsledek je "Nepodařilo se najít adresu média." Hmmm.
Dlouhý link - stejný výsledek.

Dělám něco špatně, nebo se na Porntube.com něco změnilo, neb stahování nejede.


PS. abych jen nekritizoval, tak pomocí YTD lze stáhnout titulky z YewTube, což je super! A to funguje bezvadně... Takže není to jen tak, že bych narážel stále na nějaký bug, jak se z mých příspěvků může zdát. Ostatně, snažím se o konstruktivní kritiku.

Na Rutube.ru je video, které díky svému politicky nekorektnímu obsahu na YouTube nevydrží. Nu a protože Rutube.ru mi moc dobře nejede (jde mi přehrávat vložené videjka z tohoto serveru, ale FF v3 nemá jinak domovskou stránku Rutube.ru nějak v lásce) a hlavně nechci být závislý na tom, zda to video někde je nebo není, zvláště když si ověřuji podklady v něm uvedené, tak bych si ho chtěl stáhnout.

A YTD zde pomohl a video stáhnul! 

Buhužel je tu velké ALE. Zvuk. V průběhu zejména projevu bishopa Williamsona jsou celé kusy jeho projevu vytrhány. Video se zdá, že je v pořádku, ale jak říkám, audio jde do háje zeleného Nevím čím to je (špatný fps?), ale známému který mi YTD doporučil se stáhlo skoro to samé - stíhnuté video má vždy 109 666 686 bytes, jen změny v audiu jsou vždy přítomny

A Daniel Lipšic je hrdina  (a navíc mu i judikatura ESLP dává zapravdu, což HaRabín nemůže vystát... pochopitelně...)

Zajímalo by mně tedy, zdali to jde nějak spravit. YTD 1.20 i 1.22 - stejný výsledek.

Jistě jde jen o malou chybku, ale mělo by se to napravit.
